We are working on getting a pet food pantry up and running to serve Youngstown families who love their companion animals but struggle to afford pet food.
Families who live paycheck to paycheck, participate in government assistance programs, and face barriers to securing enough food for their humans will be able to receive pet food at no cost to them.
We plan to partner with local churches that are already providing assistance with human food. Now, we will also be able to supply these families in need with pet food.
Too many companion animals have been suffering in Youngstown due to starvation, and we help prevent that.
We also help decrease the number of pets getting dumped in the streets, surrendered to shelters, and rehomed due to financial hardship.
