What we do

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we improve animal welfare through prevention, advocacy, and education. Our main goal is to reduce animal neglect and abandonment in Mahoning County, Ohio.

We are not a rescue, so we do not take in animals. Instead, we focus on proactive measures to reduce the number of companion animals that end up at rescues and shelters.

We believe that if we help the people, we help the pets. We build relationships and trust with pet owners who want to do better but lack the knowledge and resources to do so.

We provide pet food to veterans, seniors, and those facing financial hardship. We also educate the public about animal welfare and services in Mahoning County and the surrounding areas.
