Help us advocate for companion animals in Mahoning County, Ohio. We improve animal welfare through prevention, advocacy, and education. Our main goal is to reduce animal neglect and abandonment.

We’ve distributed 3,761 pounds of pet food so far in 2026.

To date, we’ve distributed 10,141 pounds for pets in need!

  • As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we improve animal welfare in Mahoning County, Ohio through prevention, advocacy, and education. Our main goal is to reduce animal neglect and abandonment by keeping pets with their families.

    We believe that if we help the people, we help the pets.

    • Our pet food assistance program prevents animal suffering, supports struggling pet parents, and reduces shelter overcrowding.

    • We also promote responsible pet ownership by sharing information and resources through our website, social media, and at local events.

We are not a rescue or shelter, so we do not take in animals. Instead, we focus on proactive measures to reduce the number of companion animals that end up at rescues and shelters.
